11. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your preference not to have your online browsing activity monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

California law requires us to disclose how we respond to browser DNT signals. Because there is currently no industry or legal standard for recognizing DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.

Global Privacy Control: We recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If you use a browser or extension that supports GPC, we will treat this as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising purposes under applicable state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We will honor your opt-out preferences if you enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal on your browser.

Request verification

Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to confirm you are the person about whom we have information in our system. We will only use personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. If we cannot verify your identity from information we already maintain, we may request additional information for identity verification and fraud-prevention purposes.

If you submit the request through an authorized agent, we may need to collect additional information to verify your identity, and the agent will need to provide written permission signed by you authorizing them to submit the request on your behalf.
